Configuration for Managing Aircraft Loading Points in Fleet Section

Configuration for Managing Aircraft Loading Points in Fleet Section

LDM, in Leon, stands for Load Distribution. It is a configuration feature that allows administrators to manage aircraft loading points within the Fleet section, as well as record the details of loading points on the flights.

LDM CONFIGURATION IN AN AIRCRAFT PROFILE

Administrators can now access the new LDM configuration for each aircraft in the Admin Panel > Fleet main overview:

Clicking on the toggle in the LDM column will open a pop-up window with a table containing the following available columns:

  • No. – non-editable, automatic numbering

  • Track - loading point track available only in the ‘Dual Track Mode’ input

  • ID – alphanumeric, up to 20 characters

  • Note – optional additional information

  • - adding further lines for additional loading points. This depends on the selected ‘Track Mode’:

    • Single Track Mode:

      • it is considered as a central loading point, with no specific indication, and each line is added as a separate unit

    • Dual Track Mode:

      • LPR - Left, Platform, Right

      • LR - Left, Right

      • P - Platform

The table allows you to add, remove, and sort loading points by dragging and dropping them.

The loading point ID field must be entered and cannot be duplicated within the same aircraft.

How it works

To use the functionality, an aircraft must have the Loading points configured in the Fleet sections, as explained above.

Additionally, the Load distribution checklist item has to be enabled and set to ‘Auto add to leg’ in the 'Checklist Configuration' section. This will allow recording the load distribution details on the flights.

EXAMPLE

Aircraft D-LEON has the following loading points configured in the Fleet section:

Once the flight is added to D-LEON, the ‘Load distribution’ checklist item will be available in the OPS Checklist. If the item is not set to ‘Auto add to leg’ it can be added manually. Clicking on the ‘EDIT’ button within this item allows inserting the lead distribution details for each loading point in an additional pop-up window:

The window contains the following details:

  • Weight unit:

    • switch between kg and lbs

  • Columns:

    • No. - order number on the list

    • Track - applicable in the ‘Dual configuration’ and displaying the loading points based on the default aircraft configuration

    • ID - Loading Point ID set in the LDM Aircraft configuration

    • ULD - Unit Load Device identifier

    • Weight - load weight at each loading point

    • Code - code indicating the characteristic of the load:

      • C - Cargo

      • B - Baggage

      • M - Mail

    • Note - additional Note

Once the details are inserted, they can be saved in the checklist.

IMPORTANT

  • Changing the Loading points configuration in the ‘Fleet’ section will not affect the flights with saved Load Distribution in the Checklist

  • Only a user with the ‘OPS - Load Distribution’ privilege set to ‘EDIT’ will be able to add and edit the load distribution details in the OPS Checklist

  • The following columns are available in the Report Wizard > scope ‘Flight’: ULD weight [kg], ULD weight [lbs], ULD number
