Find Ambulance Charter
Leon Marketplace supports two distinct charter types for aircraft search and requests: PAX and Ambulance. This allows operators to configure their aircraft accordingly and clients to search specifically for air ambulance availability.
Aircraft Profile — Charter Type
In the aircraft profile, under the Sales tab, a new Charter type field is available. This field defines how the aircraft will appear in Marketplace search results.
Available values:
PAX (default) — standard passenger charter
Ambulance — air ambulance charter
Search Panel — Charter Type Filter
The Marketplace search panel includes a Charter type selector, allowing the requester to specify the type of charter they are looking for.
When Ambulance is selected, the Min Category field is hidden and not used in the search.
Search Behaviour by Charter Type
When PAX is selected, the search works exactly as before, however when Ambulance is selected, the search applies different logic:
Only aircraft with Charter type set to Ambulance are included in results.
Minimum category is ignored.
PAX capacity is ignored.
Repositioning ratio to distance is ignored — all Ambulance aircraft are considered regardless of base location.
Requests
When a search request is submitted to operators, the resulting request is created with the
selected Charter type (e.g., Ambulance). Operators will see the charter type on the incoming request.
Editing an request — Charter Type Behaviour
When a search is initiated from within an request edit view, the system automatically
uses Ambulance search logic if the trip type on the request is set to Ambulance.
