Scope - Simulator
Overview
The Simulator scope covers simulator training sessions conducted by crew members. Each record represents a single simulator session, tracking the device type used, the location where the session took place, its duration, and the crew participants involved. It captures both scheduled and actual session times, maneuvers performed, and training event details such as approaches, takeoffs, and landings.
Operators use this scope to maintain crew training records, monitor simulator utilization, track endorsement renewals, and ensure that crew members meet their recency and qualification requirements.
What reports can you build with this scope?
Examples of typical reports operators build with this scope:
Monthly simulator session log by crew member — listing all sessions attended, duration, and aircraft type trained on
Endorsement renewal tracking report — identifying which endorsements were renewed during simulator sessions
Simulator utilization report by location — showing where sessions took place and how frequently
Crew training history report — summarizing takeoffs, landings, approaches, and night operations per crew member
Instructor activity report — listing all sessions where a crew member served as an instructor
