Scope - Crew Roster
Overview
The Crew Roster scope covers crew roster entries — planned and confirmed crew assignments to flights, duties, and standby periods. Each record represents a single duty assignment for one crew member, including the duty name and type, timing across multiple time zones, associated airport, aircraft, and a range of crew-specific attributes.
Operators use this scope to analyze scheduling efficiency, crew utilization, and roster composition. It is particularly useful for reviewing duty coverage across a time period, monitoring standby and request patterns, and producing reports for crew management or regulatory purposes.
What reports can you build with this scope?
Examples of typical reports operators build with this scope:
Monthly duty summary by crew member — list all duties per crew member within a given month, including start/end times and duration
Standby and on-call coverage report — filter by duty type to review standby patterns across the roster
FTL-relevant duties report — filter by duties included in FTL calculations to support fatigue risk management compliance
Crew label or group utilization — analyze duty distribution across specific crew groups or labels
Duty request status report — review pending, approved, or rejected duty requests across the team
