Certificates Validation For Duties With Assigned Aircraft
When creating a duty in Crew Calendar with a specific aircraft assigned, Leon now automatically verifies whether the selected crew member holds all certificates required to operate that aircraft. Any missing or invalid certificates are flagged on Save so planners can spot configuration gaps before the duty is published.
How it works
When you create a new duty for a crew member and assign an aircraft to it, Leon checks the crew member's certificates against the requirements defined for:
the aircraft type,
the crew member's position on the duty,
the AOC of the aircraft.
If any required certificate is missing or invalid for the duty's date range, after you click Add a list of warnings is displayed showing exactly which qualifications are missing or expired.
You can then either:
review the warnings and click Continue to publish the duty anyway, or
close the dialog, fix the underlying certificates, and re-try.
This mirrors the existing validation behaviour in the Assign Crew dialog on Crew Timeline.
