SCHED - modyfing checklist for multiple flights is now available
We have introduced a new option in the Sched module that allows you to change the status of selected checklist items on multiple published flights at once, directly from the Modify flights window.
What has changed?
In the Sched > Modify flights window, a new tab called Checklist is now available.
This tab lets you define a set of checklist items and target statuses which will then be applied in bulk to all selected published flights.
Key elements:
New “Checklist” tab in Modify flights
The tab contains a table with 2 columns:
Item – the checklist item you want to update.
Status – the status you want to set for that item.
You can add multiple rows to the table to update several items at once.
Item selection works similarly to the existing checklist interface in OPS.
Bulk application to selected flights
Once you confirm the changes, Leon:
Updates the selected checklist items to the chosen statuses on all selected published flights.
If a flight does not yet have a given checklist item, Leon will add that item to the flight and set it to the chosen status.
Cancelled flights are ignored during processing.
Permissions and security
Checklist changes respect existing permissions:
Users can only modify checklist items of types for which they have edit rights (e.g. Ops, Sales, Flight Care groups).
Optionally, there is a dedicated permission that can be used by admins:
Sched – Checklist Ops with levels:
None | EditWhen this permission model is used, the user can add and modify only OPS‑type checklist items from the Sched module.
This ensures that sensitive checklist elements remain under the control of the appropriate teams.
How to use it:
Go to Sched and select the flights you want to update.
Open Modify flights for the selected flights.
Go to the new Checklist tab.
For each row you want to apply:
Select the Checklist Item.
Select the target Status.
Add more rows as needed to cover all items you want to update.
Confirm and save the changes.
Leon will:
Add any missing items on each selected flight.
Set each item to the chosen status on all selected published flights (skipping cancelled ones).
